    A Modest Proposal
His proposal was to kill babies and eat them and use their flesh.
He believes that his proposal will solve hunger issues and that poor women will make a little bit of money.
He thinks that women can get money, women won’t have to “deal” with their babies and men will be happy with a new taste.
I think he wanted people to really think that it is a good idea to eat babies.
He is probably exaggerating all of the exports the baby could give.

"A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift
Swift was hoping more for the shock value rather than humor. He was hoping it would shake up the British government's lack of support for the Irish people.

"A Modest Proposal" by Jonathan Swift
    1. What is Swift's modest proposal?: His modest proposal was for the citizens' lives to change in a good way because the poverty and famine was too much.
    2. What problems does Swift believe his proposal will solve?: Poverty, famine, and better quality of life for the civilians.
    3. What are some reasons Swift believes his proposal should be considered?: Because he is very good at satire and other proposals were rejected so he changed how he wrote them, hoping to influence the Irish Parliament differently.
    4. Since it's a satire, what reactions was Swift hoping he received?: The right response for him and the response that the Irish Parliament thought it was funny about how he talked about killing children even though that isn't funny.
    5. Which techniques of satire does Swift use in his writing?: I'm not sure but I know he talked about killing and eating children which I guess has a comedic, satirical appeal to it.
